La Triveneta Cavi is pleased to inform all its customers and collaborators that – having distinguished itself in excellence – it has been awarded the “Metellino d’Oro” award, edition 2021.
The announcement was made at the Metel Event on October 19th, through a film broadcast at the end of the convention.
The Metellino d’Oro – an expression of the growth index of a company’s efficiency in managing the order cycle – is the Oscar awarded by Metel to the most deserving companies.
This is the second time since 2015 that La Triveneta Cavi has won this prestigious award, confirming a corporate structure that focuses on the customers and their satisfaction.
La Triveneta Cavi was among the protagonists of the MEB fair which was held in Vicenza on the first weekend of October. We thank all customers and visitors who came to our booth to learn about our latest news.
Another success is added to the long list of prestigious supplies by La Triveneta Cavi. This time the intervention concerns the new Terminal Catullo in Verona, an infrastructure project, as reported by ANSA, with a total value of 68 million Euros.
Specifically, La Triveneta Cavi supplied 25 km of FG16H1R12 cable, a product designed for the airport environment, which complies with the fire performance requirements according to EN 50575. It is used for fixed installation of primary circuits for lighting and signalling systems by means of radio beacons on airport runways. The supply also included 70 km of Triflex Plus H07RN-F cable for fixed and mobile laying, internal or external. Both cables by La Triveneta Cavi that will be installed at Catullo are obviously CPR certified.
Catullo airport – along with the airports of Venice, Treviso and Brescia – is part of the Northeastern Airport Hub, which handled the incredible figure of 18.5 million passengers in 2019. To put the work in context, as ANSA explains, the overall construction project is involving the redevelopment and expansion of Catullo’s departure terminal, whose surface area will increase from the current 24,840 square meters to 36,370 square meters, together with the renovation of more than 10,000 square meters of existing areas. The new infrastructure will be built with a view to environmental sustainability, high maintainability and energy saving.
Never change a winning team: after the big contract for the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, the partnership between La Triveneta Cavi and Cleveland Cable (Dubai) has been renewed for the supply of our highly appreciated TRIFLEX H07RN-F, a cable that will be used to “light up” the Tokyo Olympics and bring energy during the competitions.
The prestigious assignment involved around 80km of cable in several cross-sections and formations. TRIFLEX H07RN-F can be used for both indoor and outdoor installations, including mobile laying. It is worth remembering that TRIFLEX H07RN-F is chosen for this type of work as it boasts excellent flexibility and great resistance to abrasion, stripping and tearing.
While the latest news on the CoViD19 emergency is still keeping the organisers in suspense, the Japanese facilities are now ready to show the best of world technology, with an extremely high level of safety, always guaranteed for construction work in this country, so exposed to natural events.
And it is exactly in unforeseen situations, such as a potential change of dates or location, that the advantage of having chosen our cable, TRIFLEX H07RN-F, which can be re-employed should the games or part of the programme be rearranged again, emerges.
So, the prestigious awards continue for La Triveneta Cavi and for the partners who, from all over the world, choose our electrical cables in works of international significance.

On Friday 2 July, La Triveneta Cavi celebrated, at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, 25 years of history and achievements of AICE, an association representing companies operating in the field of power cables and accessories, communication cables and conductors for electrical windings, which was established in 1996.
Representing La Triveneta Cavi was Carlo Randon, Sales Manager, who received a commemorative plate honouring the quarter of a century spent as a leading member of the association. Our company is in fact one of the founding members.
The aim of La Triveneta Cavi and the other members of AICE is to protect the interests and promote the requests of the category through the elaboration of wide-ranging strategies, in order to favour the growth of the industry, the promotion of research and the development of new products and new technologies, the unitary representation of the category at the Italian and European political institutions, at the most important Stakeholders and at the Technical Standardisation and Certification Bodies.
In addition, there has been a constant commitment to promoting the technical and regulatory culture of safety among all operators in the electrical field. In recent years, this mission has taken concrete form in our engagement on the occasion of the entry into force of the Construction Products Regulation, whose application to cables has brought about a momentous change.
La Triveneta Cavi, in cooperation with CERVED, has carried out a Customer Satisfaction Audit, aimed at assessing the satisfaction level of its customers, as part of the continuous improvement of the products and services provided.
The RG16H1R12 cable of La Triveneta Cavi has been CPR certified (Eca classification) and replaces the previous RG7H1R cable.
RG16H1R12 is suitable for transporting energy between transformer rooms and large utilities. It can be laid in open air, in pipes or ducts, or underground, even unprotected.
The nominal operating voltage range is: 1.8/3 kV ÷ 26/45 kV.
A three-pole version with visible helix, RG16H1R12X, is also available.
On November 25th we had the pleasure to host in La Triveneta Cavi headquarters, IN FULL SAFETY, our historical corregional partner MARCHIOL. The meeting was an opportunity both to learn more about the latest production news regarding CPR cables as well as to visit and illustrate the features of our new logistics unit.
