The 22nd edition of the Football World Cup will take place in Qatar, in 2022.Before the kickoff of the first game of the FIFA World Cup, the planning and construction of three of the four lines of the Doha metro will be partially completed. This project will allow to carry around 600,000 people a day. The objective is obviously to provide an additional service to football fans, who will arrive in Qatar.
The lines will be running underground for 75 km, under the capital city of Doha, and will stop at 37 stations.
La Triveneta Cavi will provide to a project subcontractor, electrical, signaling and control cables, making Italian cables part of this important public transport project. Because the “Made in Italy” label is already a winner even before starting the match!
