During 2020, despite the difficulties due to CoViD-19, La Triveneta Cavi S.p.A. chose to make important investments in order to expand its production facilities. A first construction site was opened at the plant in Via Orna 35 in Brendola, where a new production unit of 2.700 square meters was built in a neighboring area already acquired at the end of 2019. Here 3 new cable extrusion lines and 4 packaging plants have been installed.
A second expansion concerned Veneta Trafili, the company’s own wire-drawing plant located in Montecchio Maggiore, where a 4.300 square meter building was built and 3 new copper drawing lines were installed.
As a result of these substantial investments, since July 2020 La Triveneta Cavi S.p.A. has hired 40 new employees with the ambitious goal, for the year 2021, to increase the production volumes by about 10% in order to reach the target of 125.000 tons of cable produced.
These considerable investments will allow La Triveneta Cavi S.p.A., already the first Italian producer and the fourth in Europe, to increase its impact on the market of electric cables in which it has been a reference point for over 55 years.
On November 25th we had the pleasure to host in La Triveneta Cavi headquarters, IN FULL SAFETY, our historical corregional partner MARCHIOL. The meeting was an opportunity both to learn more about the latest production news regarding CPR cables as well as to visit and illustrate the features of our new logistics unit.
Last November 18th, our technicians Giorgio Massignan and Gianluca Migliorelli held a technical seminar from the meeting room of our headquarters in Brendola which was attended by 40 operators selected by our partner Sonepar Italia. The webinar covered the CPR regulation with its latest updates, and the news on low and medium voltage electric cables certified by La Triveneta Cavi. We also focused on the importance of the IMQ EFP voluntary brand which has always been considered a plus by our company. For this reason our R&D departments are every day in the forefront for the realization of cables that meet all legal requirements; in the last three years alone more than 100 types of CPR branded cables have been created. Waiting to resume the live seminars, always appreciated in the past years by our customers, La Triveneta Cavi is available to carry out technical training with its strategic partners.
What a pleasure to receive a visit from Israel’s largest cable distributor. Thanks to Mr Yair Duchovni and Mr Yaron Bergman.…Read more
After the Dacia Arena in Udine (one of the most innovative sports facilities in Italy), even the energy of the Marassi stadium in Genoa, starting from the current football season, is flowing through electric cables produced by La Triveneta Cavi. In fact, for the recent restyling of the famous Ligurian stadium, a large supply of our cables has been selected. The Luigi Ferraris Stadium is 110 years old and is the oldest football stadium still working in our country, recognized as one of the sports facilities that has made the history of Italian football. In 1933, between the two wars, it was named after Luigi Ferraris, captain of Genoa who died in the First World War.
Trisecur FG16OM16, a perfect cable for Stadium Marassi
27 kilometers of BT Trisecur FG16OM16 10G2.5 produced by La Triveneta Cavi were used in the works for the new lighting system of the stadium, mainly employed to power the lights and the safety lamps arranged on the entire surface of the stadium. Our Trisecur cable offers maximum safety and is in fact required by designers of sports facilities as it is resistant to weather and variable temperatures, with a guarantee of functioning for many events to come.
As reported by the website Calcio e Finanza – there is a project worth over 40 million euros to be implemented over the next three years.
The project includes the construction of a “sky box” area with luxury lounges dedicated to companies and sponsors, the renovation of the changing rooms, the construction of a conference center, entertainment areas, restaurants and shops.
For this facility Forum LED projectors (by Disano illuminazione Spa) were chosen, the spotlights that have brought the quality of LED lighting up to the level of large sports facilities. In addition to energy savings, the perfect stability of the light, with high color rendering, guarantees high-definition TV shooting and maximum comfort for both players and visitors.
The new Luigi Ferraris stadium system includes 240 1392W Forum LED projectors with 3 different optics, replacing the 368 old generation 2000W lights.
In a global context increasingly devoted to green energies, the photovoltaic field in Europe is about to experience a new moment of growth.
As proof of its efforts in terms of research and sustainable development, La Triveneta Cavi has designed the new harmonized photovoltaic cable H1Z2Z2-K, whose characteristics make it ideal for connecting and carrying energy to new generation panels. The H1Z2Z2-K cable is suitable for photovoltaic installations in industry, in public, private and industrial buildings, photovoltaic parks, lighting and work areas in general.
The H1Z2Z2-K cable, certified HAR and CPR (reaction to fire class: Eca) is a cable that offers high safety standards being flame retardant and LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). It also has a high resistance to UV rays and low temperatures with a guaranteed life cycle of at least 25 years (EN 60216-1). Available in Black and Red colors.
Characteristics of H1Z2Z2-K cable

The presence of La Triveneta Cavi is strengthened in Germany thanks to the construction of a huge new Logistics Centre entirely dedicated to electrical cables which is the result of an important investment of our partner FEGA & Schmitt in Heilsbronn, near Nuremberg; the company is part of the giant Würth Group.
We are happy and proud to have been invited to the important event of June 7th, 2019 which was attended by our salesmen Giulio Pistoni and Piero Thiella. At the opening event the new Logistics Centre was unveiled in all its grandeur. Here are the numbers of the new construction:
40.000sqm of site area
15.000sqm of covered warehouse
65m long and 17m high shelf rows
250.000m3 of storage volume
10.000 pallet places
6 cable cutting stations
At the official presentation, to underline the importance of the investment, besides the managing directors of FEGA & Schmitt Bernd Eberlein and Frank Leyser, Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth also spoke (Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group). Further speakers were Robert Friedmann (Chairman of the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group), Dr. Jürgen Ludwig (Chairman of the Ansbach District) and Joachim Herrmann (the Bavarian Minister of the Interior). The conference was enlivened by musical performances by members of the Würth Philharmonic.
We congratulate FEGA & Schmitt for the exponential growth in recent years that has led them to be among our TOP 5 customers in terms of sales volume. This great investment in logistics will surely reward their corporate vision. We are ready to collaborate even more closely to meet the needs of the customers of FEGA & Schmitt, thanks to our new automated Logistics Centre presented in 2017 that allows faster, leaner and more accurate management of the shipments.
The LTC brand has been present in Germany for many years and is being further consolidated thanks to our ability to serve and supply important customers such as FEGA & Schmitt. In this market, in addition to the CPR Trisecur NHXMH cable, there are already substantial volumes of NYM, NYY, YSLY, J-Y(St)Y, EIB-BUS, EIB-BUS-HFR cables (also CPR certified) used in all civil installations and increasingly requested and appreciated for their qualities.
