On Friday 2 July, La Triveneta Cavi celebrated, at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, 25 years of history and achievements of AICE, an association representing companies operating in the field of power cables and accessories, communication cables and conductors for electrical windings, which was established in 1996.

Representing La Triveneta Cavi was Carlo Randon, Sales Manager, who received a commemorative plate honouring the quarter of a century spent as a leading member of the association. Our company is in fact one of the founding members.

The aim of La Triveneta Cavi and the other members of AICE is to protect the interests and promote the requests of the category through the elaboration of wide-ranging strategies, in order to favour the growth of the industry, the promotion of research and the development of new products and new technologies, the unitary representation of the category at the Italian and European political institutions, at the most important Stakeholders and at the Technical Standardisation and Certification Bodies.

In addition, there has been a constant commitment to promoting the technical and regulatory culture of safety among all operators in the electrical field. In recent years, this mission has taken concrete form in our engagement on the occasion of the entry into force of the Construction Products Regulation, whose application to cables has brought about a momentous change.

Customer Satisfaction by Cerved: excellent results!

La Triveneta Cavi, in cooperation with CERVED, has carried out a Customer Satisfaction Audit, aimed at assessing the satisfaction level of its customers, as part of the continuous improvement of the products and services provided.

Technical Webinar in partnership with Sacchi: news on the CPR regulation
Posted in   on Company news, Featured, news lato slider (EN)

On May 13th, from the conference room of the headquarters in Brendola, our technical sales staff, represented by our Carlo Randon and Gianluca Migliorelli, held a technical seminar organised by our partner Sacchi (Sonepar Company), which was attended by about fifty operators.

The presentation focused on the CPR regulation, which came into force in July 2017, with all the updates and latest news on low and medium voltage power cables certified by La Triveneta Cavi.

During the webinar we also highlighted the importance of the voluntary IMQ EFP mark, which has always been considered a plus by our company. Our research and development departments are constantly at the forefront of the production of cables that meet all the requirements of the law; there are now over a hundred cables marked CPR that La Triveneta Cavi has included in its catalogue.

This is not the only webinar that La Triveneta Cavi has organised in the last year. While waiting to resume live seminars, always appreciated by our customers in recent years, La Triveneta Cavi is always available to carry out technical training with its strategic partners.

NPE SUN: the photovoltaic cable is covered by the 110% Superbonus
Posted in   on Advices, Featured, Market info, news lato slider (EN)

The 110% Superbonus is one of the most topical issues in the Italian economic panorama and concerns many citizens who want to improve the energy efficiency of their housing. For this reason, technicians and project planners are committed to finding increasingly precise information to ensure maximum savings for those who wish to take advantage of this benefit.

The energy efficiency measures provided for in the relaunch decree also include photovoltaic systems, covering both design and material costs. This obviously extends to the arteries that transport energy from the panels to the inverter, i.e. the electrical cables dedicated to photovoltaic. The NPE SUN H1Z2Z2-K (Natural Power Energy) cable from La Triveneta Cavi is a product present on the market since a number of years, known and appreciated in Italy and Europe because it meets all the required standards guaranteeing excellent performance and high levels of safety.

La Triveneta Cavi’s solar cable has been designed for the installation of photovoltaic systems in private buildings, but also for the use in public buildings, industrial companies, agricultural installations, lighting systems, etc.  NPE SUN H1Z2Z2-K, RPC (fire reaction class: Eca) and HAR (for use in all European countries) certified, is a cable that offers very high safety standards: flame retardant, LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), it boasts high resistance to UV rays and low temperatures with a guaranteed life cycle of at least 25 years (EN 60216-1). It is available in Black and in Red colours.

Main features:

– Maximum conductor temperature: 120°

– Guaranteed life cycle: minimum 25 years (EN 60216-1)

– LS0H: Low Smoke Zero Halogen

– Non flame propagant

– Fire reaction class: Eca

– HAR certification

– Excellent flexibility for easy installation

– UV and low temperature resistance

– Rated operational voltage – AC: 1000V and DC: 1500V

– Sections from 1×1.5mm² to 1x120mm²

As reported by Altroconsumo.it, the relaunch decree has established important news in the building renovation scenario for those who invest in the thermal insulation of their homes, in the replacement of winter conditioning systems and in the reduction of seismic risk. The 110% deduction also applies to expenses incurred in carrying out the work, such as the purchase of materials, the design and technical costs, surveys, the installation of scaffolding, the disposal of dismantled materials, VAT, stamp duty and fees for building permits. The 110% superbonus is also available for certain interventions that are carried out in conjunction with at least one of the above-mentioned projects and which, for this reason, are defined as ” driven “. Attention must be paid to the date on which these works are executed, as they are only eligible for the increased 110% deduction if they are carried out in the time period between the date of beginning of work and the date of completion of the so-called ” driving” works.

Specifically, the superbonus is granted for:

– the installation of photovoltaic systems connected to the electrical network and their integrated storage systems, or the solar photovoltaic systems installed on structures pertaining to buildings;

In the case of the installation of photovoltaic solar systems connected to the electrical network, the 110% deduction is granted on a maximum expenditure of €48,000 and in any case within the limit of €2,400 for each kWp of nominal power of the photovoltaic solar system for each property unit. The deduction is conditional on the energy not consumed on site or not shared for self-consumption being transferred to the GSE (energy services manager).

The deduction is also available in the event of simultaneous or subsequent installation of storage systems integrated into photovoltaic systems, up to an expenditure limit of €1,000 per kWh of storage capacity of the system. The 110% deduction is available for a lower expenditure limit, i.e. € 1,600 per kWp in case of simultaneous building renovation, new construction or urban restructuring. The deduction is not available if other public incentives and other forms of facilitation of any kind provided for by European, national and regional legislation are received, including guarantee and rotation funds and incentives for on-site exchange.

New facility expansions at La Triveneta Cavi S.p.A.
Posted in   on Company news, Featured, news lato slider (EN)

During 2020, despite the difficulties due to CoViD-19, La Triveneta Cavi S.p.A. chose to make important investments in order to expand its production facilities. A first construction site was opened at the plant in Via Orna 35 in Brendola, where a new production unit of 2.700 square meters was built in a neighboring area already acquired at the end of 2019. Here 3 new cable extrusion lines and 4 packaging plants have been installed.

A second expansion concerned Veneta Trafili, the company’s own wire-drawing plant located in Montecchio Maggiore, where a 4.300 square meter building was built and 3 new copper drawing lines were installed.

As a result of these substantial investments, since July 2020 La Triveneta Cavi S.p.A. has hired 40 new employees with the ambitious goal, for the year 2021, to increase the production volumes by about 10% in order to reach the target of 125.000 tons of cable produced.

These considerable investments will allow La Triveneta Cavi S.p.A., already the first Italian producer and the fourth in Europe, to increase its impact on the market of electric cables in which it has been a reference point for over 55 years.
