Another prestigious supply for La Triveneta Cavi, which has delivered several kilometres of RG7H1(AN)R-18/30 kV cable to the Nardò Technical Center (Lecce), one of the most important test centres in the world, where a wide range of high-level testing and engineering services dedicated to the entire automotive industry are performed.

The RG7H1(AN)R-18/30 kV cable supplied by LTC is suitable for transporting energy between transformer rooms and large utilities. It is a medium voltage cable that can be buried for direct or indirect laying in accordance with CEI 11-17. Thanks to the aluminium armouring that protects the conductor, it is suitable in environments with possible mechanical damage and/or the presence of rodents, guaranteeing continuity of service.

Since 2012 the Lecce Test Centre has been an integral part of Porsche Engineering Group GmbH, the engineering service provider within the Porsche AG group that has been providing top-level engineering services to customers in the automotive industry and beyond for over 80 years.

With more than 700 hectares and a wide variety of test tracks and facilities, the Apulian facility offers testing solutions that meet the diverse needs of customers in accordance with the major trends in the automotive industry, whether it is testing combustion engines or advanced battery-electric vehicle systems.

LTC ever more sustainable: here’s the new packaging made of 70% recycled cardboard

Plastic has been an integral part of our daily lives for decades, but the growing awareness of its impact on the environment is presenting us with a challenge that concerns us all and that the European Union has integrated into its political agenda for years, setting itself the goal of a circular economy.

La Triveneta Cavi has also taken up the challenge by choosing to be ever greener: for some cable lines, the introduction of new cardboard packaging to replace the previous plastic packaging has become official. The waste-based composition of the new packaging reaches a total of 70% recycled cardboard.

This important innovation comes as a result of our company’s ever-increasing sensitivity to environmental issues. The ISO 14001 certification recently obtained is a demonstration of this: La Triveneta Cavi wants to pay more and more attention to the impact that its products and processes have on the environment in order to contribute concretely to making the planet “greener”.

The new cardboard barrels that pack LTC cables guarantee strong, safe and practical packaging. The advantages for the customer are very clear: easier cable unwinding, without tangling, and practical handling, thanks to the side holes that act as handles.

Never change a winning team: after the big contract for the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, the partnership between La Triveneta Cavi and Cleveland Cable (Dubai) has been renewed for the supply of our highly appreciated TRIFLEX H07RN-F, a cable that will be used to “light up” the Tokyo Olympics and bring energy during the competitions.

The prestigious assignment involved around 80km of cable in several cross-sections and formations. TRIFLEX H07RN-F can be used for both indoor and outdoor installations, including mobile laying. It is worth remembering that TRIFLEX H07RN-F is chosen for this type of work as it boasts excellent flexibility and great resistance to abrasion, stripping and tearing.

While the latest news on the CoViD19 emergency is still keeping the organisers in suspense, the Japanese facilities are now ready to show the best of world technology, with an extremely high level of safety, always guaranteed for construction work in this country, so exposed to natural events.

And it is exactly in unforeseen situations, such as a potential change of dates or location, that the advantage of having chosen our cable, TRIFLEX H07RN-F, which can be re-employed should the games or part of the programme be rearranged again, emerges.

So, the prestigious awards continue for La Triveneta Cavi and for the partners who, from all over the world, choose our electrical cables in works of international significance.

On Friday 2 July, La Triveneta Cavi celebrated, at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, 25 years of history and achievements of AICE, an association representing companies operating in the field of power cables and accessories, communication cables and conductors for electrical windings, which was established in 1996.

Representing La Triveneta Cavi was Carlo Randon, Sales Manager, who received a commemorative plate honouring the quarter of a century spent as a leading member of the association. Our company is in fact one of the founding members.

The aim of La Triveneta Cavi and the other members of AICE is to protect the interests and promote the requests of the category through the elaboration of wide-ranging strategies, in order to favour the growth of the industry, the promotion of research and the development of new products and new technologies, the unitary representation of the category at the Italian and European political institutions, at the most important Stakeholders and at the Technical Standardisation and Certification Bodies.

In addition, there has been a constant commitment to promoting the technical and regulatory culture of safety among all operators in the electrical field. In recent years, this mission has taken concrete form in our engagement on the occasion of the entry into force of the Construction Products Regulation, whose application to cables has brought about a momentous change.

Customer Satisfaction by Cerved: excellent results!

La Triveneta Cavi, in cooperation with CERVED, has carried out a Customer Satisfaction Audit, aimed at assessing the satisfaction level of its customers, as part of the continuous improvement of the products and services provided.

Technical Webinar in partnership with Sacchi: news on the CPR regulation
Posted in   on Company news, Featured, news lato slider (EN)

On May 13th, from the conference room of the headquarters in Brendola, our technical sales staff, represented by our Carlo Randon and Gianluca Migliorelli, held a technical seminar organised by our partner Sacchi (Sonepar Company), which was attended by about fifty operators.

The presentation focused on the CPR regulation, which came into force in July 2017, with all the updates and latest news on low and medium voltage power cables certified by La Triveneta Cavi.

During the webinar we also highlighted the importance of the voluntary IMQ EFP mark, which has always been considered a plus by our company. Our research and development departments are constantly at the forefront of the production of cables that meet all the requirements of the law; there are now over a hundred cables marked CPR that La Triveneta Cavi has included in its catalogue.

This is not the only webinar that La Triveneta Cavi has organised in the last year. While waiting to resume live seminars, always appreciated by our customers in recent years, La Triveneta Cavi is always available to carry out technical training with its strategic partners.
