61° EUEW (European Electrical Wholesalers Association)

The 61st edition of the EUEW Convention (European Electrical Wholesalers Association) was held in Italy from June 02nd to June 04th, 2016 and it gathered a large number of distributors and producers from all over Europe.

The issues that were discussed during the event – which took place in the magnificent location of Forte Village Resort (Sardinia) – were focused on the search of the “winning model”.
The main themes dealt with are the following: the short-medium term macroeconomic scenario, the importance of digital platforms in terms of e-commerce and content research, the standardization and classification of the electric products, value creation in the production chain as well as more technical topics like the CPR (Construction Products Regulation) and the new Low Voltage Directive. Last year La Triveneta Cavi (sponsor and official speaker) had already introduced the CPR and the Low Voltage Directive as topical subjects given their essential impact on the European world of electric cables.

euew_costa1Our Sales and Managing Director, Dott. Ambrosini Costantino participated in the event with a speech intended to explain the changes introduced by the two European directives.

We also took this opportunity to officially introduce the launch of our 5th LTC production plant in the Republic of Moldova and to underline the fact that in our job it is the people who make the difference with their everyday passion, dedication and hard work: that is the reason why they are the heroes of our modern companies.
